It can be used in auto body and motorcycle repair, manufacturing or customizing or anywhere sheet metal has to be formed into a particular shape. Even seams can be flattened and smoothed by planishing. Being air operated, lightweight and fully portable, the GL2 is ideal for both bench work or “on the vehicle” jobs. It is supplied with an air hose, tool rack and 3 hammer inserts for planishing, stretching and curving. Optional Dollies Available.   A handy and economical way to purchase everything offered for the Eckold Portable Planishing Hammer.  It includes the air hammer, 5 steel insert dies, 5 synthetic inserts, 2 holding adapters, including a 12 degree swivel adapter, air fittings and hose.  It even has an additional 3 blank synthetic inserts so you can shape them to meet your special applications. Inserts available separately, inquire.                       GL2-PDKIT             Call For Pricing       The new GL2-PD planishing die kit is a great addition to the very popular Eckold Planishing Hammer, (GL2).  This "add-on" kit consists of 13 pieces.  (5 new round synthetic inserts in a variety of surface radii, 2 round flat synthetic inserts for custom shaping and 1, 18mm x 40mm synthetic flat.  Also included is a 40mm x R 50mm and a 48mm x R 70mm steel insert.  All the inserts quickly attach to the 2 adapter shafts, one of which allows the inserts to swivel up to 12 degrees in any direction.  A handy storage tray is also supplied and can be easily attached to the GL2 kit tray or to your tool box, work bench or wall.  Please note that this is a planishing die kit and does not include the air planishing hammer or any of the accessories supplied with the standard GL2 kit.             Disclaimer - Prices are subject to change without notice.
